to use Pita bread

For a great
chip substitute or just a side item, use whole wheat pita bread or low
carb flatbread (or similar products).
Take the
breads and cut into chip sized wedges. For pocket pita bread split apart.
Lay the pieces on a baking sheet. Either spritz with grapeseed oil or
drizzle with olive oil.
Topping(s)....
- For
plain chips for use with Guacamole, just throw on some kosher salt.
- For
an Italian season, use an Italian spice grinder from the spice section
of your grocery (ex: McCormicks make one)
Bake in
oven at 350 until desired. The longer the crispier.
